IFS for sensitive, heart-centered leaders

IFS coaching for sensitive, high-achieving leaders

(Because your inner world deserves the same caliber of leadership as your career.)

You’ve done the therapy. You’ve climbed the ladder. On paper, your life looks impressive.

And yet, you continue to overthink friendships that feel… off. You’re exhausted from managing other people’s energy. A tiny comment from a ā€œfriendā€ can derail your entire week.

IFS (Internal Family Systems)–informed coaching is where we change that. This is where your sensitivity becomes an advantage, your intuition becomes trustworthy again, and newer relationships can finally match the depth of your heart.

ifs coaching can help you finally exhale

Why IFS coaching with me is different

my background

You’re not looking for just any coach.

You’re a thoughtful, heart-centered professional. You care about depth, ethics, and expertise.

Here’s a little bit about me (you can read more on my About page!):

  • I’m IFS Level 1 trained through the IFS Institute.

  • I’m a clinical social worker with nearly a decade of experience as a therapist, and I hold a Master’s degree in social work.

  • I’ve received various somatics trainings, particularly in somatic regulation strategies, which means we don’t just talk about your feelings. I help you embody your sense of safety and clarity in real time.

  • I weave in my own flavor of intuitive, slightly-weird-in-the-best-way magic. (I lovingly refer to myself as a ā€œweirdo,ā€ which my clients tend to relate to as fellow ā€œweirdosā€ with caring hearts.)

i’m not here to fix you.

I’m here to help you reconnect with your intuition, honor your sensitivity, and build friendships and a life that actually match who you are now.

IFS therapy vs. IFS coaching

And why the difference matters

I want you to be crystal clear on the distinctions between IFS therapy and coaching so you have the information you need to make the best decision.

What IFS therapy is

IFS therapy is:

  • A form of mental health treatment provided by a licensed clinician acting in their role as a therapist

  • Designed to address mental health diagnoses and mental health symptoms (like social anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, etc.) and provide mental health treatment

  • Provided by licensed and associate mental health professionals who must adhere to a specific state or country’s licensing laws and ethical standards for psychotherapy

  • Sometimes eligible for insurance reimbursement, if the provider accepts insurance and provides mental health services covered by health insurance benefits

  • Bound by the legal and ethical standards for a therapist–client relationship, which includes clinical documentation

Not therapy

  • When we work together in my coaching practice, I am not functioning as your therapist, and our work is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment. In our coaching, we’re focused on growth, alignment, and leadership - not diagnosis.

Designed for mentally and emotionally resourced professionals

  • You’ve already done meaningful therapy work. You have enough stability and support in your life to dive into deeper self-leadership and uplevel your relationships.

Not a replacement for your therapist

  • Coaching with me can complement your ongoing therapy, but it’s not a substitute for it. If you need mental health treatment, I will encourage you to find a therapist and will provide referrals to the best of my ability.

Private, high-touch, and future-oriented

  • We’re orienting toward the life and friendships you’re creating now by raising your standards, deepening self-trust, and embodying your highest self in real time.

What IFS coaching with me is

Clear boundaries you can count on

So, to be clear:

I do not provide crisis support, emergency services, or treatment for mental health symptoms or mental health concerns in my coaching practice.

I won’t diagnose you or bill insurance.

If at any point it becomes clear that therapy would be more appropriate, I will recommend you seek therapy in your local area.

When we work together, you get to have both the depth and nuance of someone who’s been a therapist for years plus the forward-moving, high-level support of premium coaching with boundaries clearly respected.

IFS coaching with me is the right choice for you if

You’re a sensitive, impact-driven professional

You’re a leader whose job doesn’t fully value your empathy. (Many of the folks I work with happen to work in tech, marketing, or advertising, though you don’t have to work in those fields for us to be a great fit.)

You’re ready for the next level

You’ve already done good work in therapy, and now, you want more than insight. You are ready for transformation in how you live and the relationships you invite into your life.

You know how to be a good friend

You have some stable, long-term friendships and a solid sense that you know how to be a good friend, but your newer or local friendships have been marked by superficiality, judgment, or abrupt conflict.

You’re ready to stop making excuses

You’re tired of gaslighting yourself about friendships that feel draining or unkind, and you’re ready to stop making excuses for misalignment.

You’re open to getting a little ā€œwoo wooā€

You’re open to some level of ā€œwoo wooā€ work and doing things differently, even if part of you side-eyes the word ā€œenergyā€ at first.

You’re ready to get started

You are ready to invest in your personal growth and want a coach whose depth matches your own.

This work is not the best fit if

You’re currently in crisis

Coaching is not an appropriate fit if you’re currently (or were recently) in crisis, actively suicidal, or in active addiction.

You require care that should be provided by a mental health or medical professional

You need medical or psychiatric support that should be provided by a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or other healthcare professional.

You want a quick fix that requires no effort

You’re looking for a quick fix without a willingness to self-reflect, feel your feelings, and take aligned action.

How we’ll work together

When we work together, you’ll get

01
1:1 high-touch support

Individual high-touch support where IFS is a tool to help us examine your friendships, your leadership qualities, and your work

02
live sessions

Live sessions, typically on Zoom, where we work directly with your parts in the moment. For some of you, this may be your people-pleaser, your inner critic, your overachiever, and your younger self.

03
real-time feedback

Space to process friendship dynamics and breakups in real time, so you’re not navigating them alone or defaulting to old patterns.

04
not just a coach, but someone in your corner

A coach who is in your corner as you raise your standards, upgrade your friendships, and live in deeper alignment with your values

This isn’t surface-level, social media trend-based coaching.

It’s nuanced, sophisticated, energetically rich work for people who are ready to lead from and with their whole selves.

Your next step: Apply now

We’ll chat to see whether we’re the right fit, what you’re craving in your friendships and inner life, and how IFS coaching can support you in becoming the person who easily has the relationships you want.

You’re not too sensitive. You’re a leader who’s finally ready to own the power of your heart.

If you’re reading this and thinking, ā€œThis is what I’ve been looking forā€, trust your intuition.

Your friendships, your inner world, and your future self are too important to keep postponing.
